Stock screening tools run in the Firefox browser as temporary extensions. The SEDI insider trading screen downloads the PDF weekly insider trading summary from SEDI.ca, extracts significant insider buying and then uses the SEDI watch list to separate dividend paying and non-dividend paying stocks.
The EDGAR trading screen downloads the previous week's US insider trading reports from SEC.gov, extracts significant insider buying and then uses the EDGAR watch list to separate dividend paying and non-dividend paying stocks.
Financial metrics on the dividend paying stocks are looked up and then summaries of the results are saved in the browser default downloads folder.
