#2 Suggestion for improvement

Dear Inventory Developer,

May I submit several suggestion?

1. The first one is that in the item "Computer"
under menu, when I add one new computer, I would like
to have a field allow me to write down some notes for
the computer. Like what we have for "Locations".

2. Also for the "Computer", there are "Installed
Hardware" and "Installed Operation Systems", I would
like to have an addition item called "Installed
Software". If I want to know a certain software
installed on which computers, I should be able to search.

The inventory project is really great. Thank you
so much.

Thanks for your feedback.

1. There will be an "annotate" features in version 0.83
(version 0.82 will be out in the next few days), that will
allow to attach notes to all major components including
computers OS ... etc

2. You need to attach an OS to the computer, and then add
the software there. The concept is that software is not
relevant without the OS it is installed on. So create and
OS, and assign software there.
