Switched to user management

Hello Jürgen,

I switched our installation to usermanagement today. It's the right time for such works, just before the old year is ending and the new one begins and most of the colleagues are in vacation.

There are a couple of samples for user roles delivered with the update, but no one for a real full access administration. After servereal restarts while implemeting the user management - with "try and error" ;-) , I created the right role for a full administration.

Now I created the user accounts and everything is working very well.

I just like to mention that it is still possible to log in without a username. In this case you are the admin or system user who is allowed to do everything.

Hello Israel,
thank you very much for sending the information! The reason for these warning messages is that probably you are using the new php 8 version in your web server. In this version the behaviour of handling of notices and warnings has been changed.
In order to suppress these warnings, a new version of invdocs4me is in preparation and I plan to publish it today :-)

Hello Israel,
sorry, that I did not answer before, but I did not receive your message as email.
Anyway, normally I would not recommend to use a field "Quantity" for an inventory object, because every individual physical item should be represented by one inventory object in the system.
But of course I don't know how you are using your system, and if you still want to use a "Quality" field at inventory here is my hint:
You could use one of the user definable extra fields for inventory. Go to "Settings" -> "More Settings", scroll down to "Displayed Name for Extra Field 1" , set value to "Quantity", and Position=0.

Thanks for response, my use for it is church inventory , some like furniture's etc. but some time I have the same item, for example chair, this items don't have other serial or any id, just 20 chairs for example. today have a situation, I created a group code. but when I create inventory don't see into drop down the new group.

Hello Israel,
did you create an entry for option list "Object Goup"? This list is used for user access management (see program description) and not for inventory categories. New entries in this list can only be seen after re-login. I think you should use option list "Inventory Types" and put your code there.
