#35 Text editing bug in the GUI

I have the latest version of OS X 10.3, and ICv5 Beta 4.

The problem I am encoutering is when I try to use the text editor,
the cursor doesn't seem to advance enough for each new character.
What happens is, if a line of text like "hello, my name is jorge" is
typed, the worlds "hello, my na" will appear, even though all of the
text seems to be in the text box. I really have no idea why it
might be doing this.
