Hi Paula,

You need to sort out how to store CAS numbers. (they
are not shown in ENZYME view ;-)

I have now found more examples where there are not just
one number:

1.3.1.25
CAS Registry Number: 60496-16-4, 146888-20-2 and
146888-19-9

3.1.27.6
CAS Registry Number: 9001-99-4 (not distinguished from
EC 3.1.26.10)

I will report more cases when I find them.

Regards,

Kristian

    Hi Kristian,

These are errors in curation and should be passed to Sinead
or fixed by yourself if you want. Only one CAS number should
be entered per database field. So for
    EC 1.3.1.25
    CAS Registry Number: 60496-16-4
    CAS Registry Number: 146888-20-2
    CAS Registry Number: 146888-19-9

However, I don't understand what you mean by the ENZYME
view. There are currently no CAS numbers in ENZYME.dat. Are
you planning to introduce them? If you are then you need to
change the web view for CAS numbers.

    Cheers,
    Paula

    Hi Paula,

No that was exactly what I was hinting at. As the CAS
numbers are not in ENZYME, I will let you and Sinead deal
with how to solve the current problems. I will in NO WAY try
to change the annotation made by Sinead, I will not even
    report the errors to her.

    Regards,

    Kristian
