The command line is an interface between the user and integrit. By adding two options, we make that interface 33% fatter. That is the complexity I was referring to. The fatter interface makes integrit more difficult to learn. Even if the user doesn't want to use or learn the options, when they open up the man page, they see lots of options, and they have to take the trouble of discerning the options they need from the rest. The extra code to support the options is another thing: code complexity, and it makes integrit just a wee bit less simple and maintainable.
