  Just set a data type (I have only tested dtString and dtInteger, and some datatypes like dtBlob and dtBoolean just don't make sense), a DataSize where applicable and build the database. Don't forget to have the same settings when you connect to the database.

If you use a datatype different than string[32], you might also need to override the default key generation mechanism (otherwise IO will generate 32-character GUIDS that might not fit into your key fields), which you do by handling the connector's OnGenerateId event.
