Just to let everybody know this is still under development, thought I would offer up some advantages of this distribution. A similar document will not doubt make its way into the readme of each release.
The primary advantage of this distribution is of a much lower TCO than for any other distribution or operating system. Once the TFTP server has been configured, adding extra workstations/servers literally takes less than 3 minutes - simply open the dhcpd.conf in vi, add the hardware ethernet address of your new machine and assign it a name. Then all you need to do is plug the machine in and swicth on. There is no time spent configuring each machine, installing operating systems etc etc.
Incidentally, machines running instantLinux do NOT require hard disks - if you are buying servers or workstations to run in a cluster or webfarm that should offer significant savings.
I' currently creating packages Beowulf, MOSIX and webserving - instantLinux is ideal for rolling out a cheap, scalable, low maintenance web cluster.
Thats about all for now - I expect the initial version to be ready in about 3 weeks.
