The application displays two diffrent Values: "Program Files" and "Program Files (x86)"
They're folders on your computer and will be used to install applications using installer wizards.

Changing these values is helpful when you want to move your default installation directory
(For example when you have a small C:\ and a big D:\ drive)

When launching the Program without Administraton priviledges you're only able to read the values but can't write.
Press the "Enable Editing"-Button at the Bottom to obtain Admin permission. Alternatively you can close the Program and right click on it and "Run as Administrator"

Change the values inside the TextBoxes and press "Apply Changes".
You successfully changed your default installation folder.

Once you're happy with the changes you can delete Install Dir Changer.exe and go with your life

Thank you for reading this boring wiki page.
