I've almost entirely switched from telnet to SSH
nowadays, so it would be good to have an ssh client on
here (maybe even a server as well). However I
understand that the libraries would eat up a
substantial portion of the disk, so maybe this is not
feasible

    Hi,

Try opening a root command shell ans typing
    ssh www.xxx.yyy.zzz
where the letters represent the dotted i/p address of the
machine you wish to connect to.

SSH is alive and well in INSERT !

    Hi Henry,

you don't really think that there is no SSH on INSERT??
    Do You?

(The server can be started via the fluxbox menu (right mouse click) or as root
with 'sshstart' or with '/etc/init.d/ssh start' (also set a password for the user you
    intend to log in as).

My apologies. I was just in the process of downloading the
iso, and hadn't yet tried it out, so that comment was based
solely on reading the list of features.

Glad to hear ssh is in there ... now I just need to buy a
new CDRW, as my old one has just decided to stop working ... :-(
