There is currently partial endianness conversion when sending a network packet out. All fields need to be converted at all times.

Also struct packing must be confirmed to ensure compatibility between different compilers.

Endianess conversions have been abstracted and confirmed on all fields of every packet. Only hostnames are not converted. These are kept in network byte order at all times. This is the case as of revision 5.
