Even then, if nobody has written the platform driver to use gpio-keys then it won't work. In this case, you need to modify the kernel drivers.

The initrd included in this package is very out of date. Ideally you would hook into somehting like Debian's apt kernel update hooks and update the initrd as needed. I looked in to doing this years ago, but then ran out of time for the project.

As for kas, I assume you are compiling this yourself. Compile with debugging enabled and find where it is crashing using gdb - or lots of printfs...

Sorry I can't be of much more help :S

Discussion for Home page

I have a Buffalo LS-WTGL and would like to use your software, but I have some problems:
- gpio-keys doesn't semm to work on this linkstation
- kas does exit with an error "Speicherzugriffsfehler" (memory access error)

Do you have any hints what to do?

Home modified by Ash

Welcome to your wiki!
