Innovation3D is a 3D modeling program for Linux. It's primarily a mesh based modeler with preliminary support for NURBS.

Version 0.66.1 of Innovation3D has been released.

This version is only a build and bug fix release from 0.66. Check the release notes for details.

I've uploaded RPMS for version 0.66 and the fixed NURBS++ library. I've also uploaded a new source tarball containing a configure fix for Debian systems. (Thanks to Rene Dudfield)

This version includes build and bug fixes from 0.65, as well some minor feature additions. Several new tutorials have been added to the website to accompany this release as well.

A small set of plugins for I3D v0.62 are available for download. The plugins represent a small set of import and export filters for I3D. They include Quake's MDL and MD2, AC3D, and simple RIB export. They are available for download at:

This version of the Innovation3D modeler features a stripped down GUI, many more modeling functions, and improved performance. The Plugin interface is stabilizing, and several plugins are in the works. More information is available at the website: http://innovation3d.sourceforge.net

A new version of Innovation3D is now available. This release contains lots of bug fixes, as well as a few new features. More information can be found at http://innovation3d.sourceforge.net

The May release of the I3D 3D modeler is now available for download. Many bug fixes have been made, and several new features have been added (such as skinning of curves). A binary is available, as well as source tarballs. Modeling examples, some textures, and a manual are also available for download in the resource package.
