I have found a work-around allowing this to use the Ink2Text server on 64 bit distributions. The post is in the Help forum.

This project provides handwriting recognition for any OS that can run WINE (tested with v1.2). Using this provides recognition of printed and cursive handwriting using the Microsoft Handwriting Recognizers.
I have tested this with Xubuntu 10.4 on tablets with a 1.33Ghz Core2Duo and a Pentium Celeron 500 with good results.
The recognition facility is provided as a shared system library so any other program may link to it and use the recognition.
