We're using Ingex to record from old 1" tapes but the analogue to digital conversion introduces around 6 frame delay to the video (processed seperately as the 1" is 3ch and analogue to sdi is 2ch).
Is there a way to delay the audio in capture to compensate for this?
You could modify the IngexShm::pSecondaryAudio() method and subtract 6 from value of frame.
Or, more elegantly, you could add an optional audio delay to the capture program (dvs_sdi). Maybe I will do that when I have a moment; are you using DVS or Blackmagic?
We're using DVS.
OK, I have added an option to dvs_sdi
I'll test it on monday.
