The thumbnails shown in the article uses the full
resolution images which gives poor performance and poor
image quality in most browsers. Prescaled would be nicer.
You will get real thumbnails if you have installed PIL
(python imaging library), this is written in the README
file. Without it, plonearticle is unable to create thumbnails.
Have you installed PIL? (Also, check that it is installed
for the python used by your zope instance)

Hi,
I also have the same problem, the images appear small but
they are not rescaled and take a long time to download.
I have PIL installed and rescaling properly normal (regular
Plone) uploaded images, but it doesn't seem to be working
for PloneArticle's.
I am using PloneArticle 3.2.0, Plone 2.1.2, Zope 2.8.7,
Python 2.4.2, PIL 1.1.5-5, Fedora Core 5 Linux.
