The Discussion Forum has been offline for a few months. Below is the error I'm getting.

Is the forum officially dead? If so, the link from http://infozip.sourceforge.net/ needs updated/removed.

The host that was hosting our forum had a hiccup and the contents of the forum were mostly lost, as well as much of our other web content. We've been able to recover most of the web content, but we probably won't be able to fully restore the forum.

It looks like we might be able to rehost a fresh instance of the forum on SourceForge, but the Info-ZIP group hasn't decided if it wants to do that as maintaining the forum has proven to be a time consuming thing due to spam attacks and other things.

There's actually multiple things wrong with that page. I'm not sure why you're pushing for that particular link to be removed. We are trying to find time to update that page, but we're finishing up releases of Zip and UnZip and haven't been able to get to it.

Sorry to hear the forum is lost. It was a really good resource for all things zip/unzip related.

My only (badly worded) point about the forum link is that it leads to a dead site.

Understand 100% the hassle factor in restarting a replacement.
