InfoPad / News: Recent posts

As you can see it's been a while since any updates to infopad. I've been busy with my day job (or multiple day jobs since I started infopad) which have me working more than full-time. I am working on a way to have more distributed access to your notes, while not relying on a particular dedicated server. I hope that this will give users more control over their own (potentially private) notes. I have not settled on a model that will be compatible with the wide arrays of firewalls, however the proliferation of usb drives might be the best solution for this problem. Just keep your notes on the usb drive (and a backup on the hard drive). I'm going to be pushing this into the cvs repository sometime in the next few months.

A functional version of InfoPad is now available, though without the ability to store and retrieve notes online. I guess in order to do that I will have to make a server program and find a place to run it. In the mean time I am interested in any problems you might encounter. Please feel free to email me, submit bug reports, or use the forums and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible. Let me know any usability features you may like.
