Hi Barbara, Hm... Infomap uses ndbm, not gdbm... gdbm has a ndbm compatibility wrapper, but you might have to install a separate package for it. In general, the Infomap project has not been actively supported in some time. You may want to consider using the Semantic Vectors<http://code.google.com/p/semanticvectors/> package instead--it uses similar technology and was created by one of the Infomap project's main developers, but is still actively developed and supported.
