My Name ist Robert.
Iam Developer of Network Apps so it wasn't hard to find your interessting Project for FreePascal.
I use FreePascal myself and Indy ist an wonderful ComponentSuite for FPC Kylix and Delphi.
I think your Project is some of the most important Projects which can help FPC to grow and get more Acknowledgment.
At the moment i try to port some of my Net Apps from Kylix to FPC and found some tricky things because I4L isn't stable.
I want to offer my help to make this Suite more stable...
I could be an Beta Tester or something like that ..
Or if you have a Time you cold tell me what you do and i can help you with it. My Problem are the Threads in FPC too.
I Talked to the Developer of FPC, the next release they would be more stable and with some bugfixes.
If need Help in anyway call me my Mail is:
Robert-Boehme@gmx.de
It tested the Following things:
- TCPServer (Connect, Disconnect, Sende Recieve..) it Worked but crashes if there is any exception ...
- TCPClient (Worked .. sometimes...) there are some Problem with the Connect() Function i think he didn't notice the TimeOut Value correctly.
- AntiFreeeze Seems to work but it couldn't test it 100%
The Installation was pretty Easy but you forgot the Idstack.pas in your Package :) it's in the Folder but not in the Package. After a simple "Add" it worked fine.
I'm using FPC 1.9.3 and the newest La. Release.
Greets and Luck,
Robert B. from Germany :)
