These tools are for creating games in Unity to teach Indigenous Australian culture. Some tools are available from different sites which we will link to.
The games are developed using community narratives through three techniques used for three different levels:
A playlist of community narratives is selected on the Intertac site. These provide the videos to be loaded and placed in a scene. The player can move around the scene and hear the stories. Individual multiple-choice or reflective questions can be added to the video linked to the player stopping their viewing.
Scenarios can be scripted using a simple authoring tool expanded from the Smartbody tool.
Intelligent agents to provide simple agent interactions, based on kinship rules. A sample is given using FAtiMA agent modelling project.
Some further ideas to help teachers (with IT support) to develop games are included under [Scenario Development]
