Thank you for the answer. It pretty much confirms what I already suspected,
but I'm afraid we can't really ship it as is until the licensing issues are
resolved clearly, i.e. until there's at the very least a file named COPYING
or LICENSE inside the source archive with the license text. Of course,
putting an LGPL header on every source file in addition to that would be
the best option.
