#69 Symbols showing in menu instead of text
On upgrade to Ubutu 17.10 Impro-Visor showed symbols instead of text. Problem seems related to 'overlay-scrollbar'. On reinstalling this error message was shown:
usr/share/themes/Ambiance/gtk-2.0/apps/mate-panel.rc:30: error: invalid string constant "murrine-scrollbar", expected valid string constant
Got around this problem by installing MATE desktop environment "sudo apt install -y ubuntu-mate-desktop". The drop down menu now renders correctly on Unity and Gnome deskops (as well as Mate).
