Hi, am trying to deploy ImDisk Toolkit using group policy object. I created 7z setup sfx with .exe extension but group policy uses .msi . I tried multiple converters like silent install builder, orca, Exe to Msi Converter, Advanced Installer but however, every method I tried it fails. Also I tried install script and nothing has changed I only noticed that ImDisk is visible in control panel as imdisk and after clicking it 2 times I can install it.

Is there any other method that will allow me to create an msi file and deploy it using GPP ?
Maybe there is an imdisk.msi installer somewhere but I can't find it?

There is no MSI installer for ImDisk Toolkit.
The installation of this tool is extremely specific. I don't even know if it is possible to create a clean MSI file for that. Perhaps a solution would be to create a MSI file that "installs" all the files from the CAB file in a temporary folder, and then run "config.exe /fullsilent", as it seems you can specify something to run with the MSI file.

By the way, did you check all the available installation switches? Try "install.bat /?", or "config.exe /?" from the files extracted of the CAB file.

Well, I tried installation switches and executing it with script. also I used multiple combinations of these switches and nothing helped... I only found that after installing ramdrive from script or converted exe to msi I can see it in control panel (Photo in attachment) but it doesn't work. after clicking it 2-times I can install it. My goal is to deploy it without user interaction.
