if i try and "load content from image file or folder" and choose a networkfolder (or network drive) then it only syncs the first level of folders. not files or subtree details.
is teh is teh expected behaviour? can it be change to do a recursie load for netwrok based drives?
As I didn't yet check, I just try to use a network drive. The data are properly loaded but the synchronization does not work at all. I put that on my list.
However, by doing the tests, I just found an important issue: there is a bug with the synchronization options. They are not registered properly, this can be seen by restarting the GUI.
This bug is present since the version 20160202. What you see by restarting the GUI is how the options will be used by the service.
Of course, nobody reported that...
But well, I think we can consider it as a critical issue, because a user can see files deleted even if he chose to remove no file from the source. So even if I am in the middle of a lot of changes, I will try to upload a fix as soon as possible.
k great.. i'll retry after you fixed the issue you found.. thanks for your quick response.
just FYI my use case.
my pc is runnign windows 7 64bit. the "My Documents" folder has been redirected toa network share
however our network is relatively slow. (not slow.. but the round trips pings is what is killing me when accessing lots of small files.)
i wanted to create a ramdisk which copied a single subfolder from eth network share (with all its children) and then have it sync back at teh end/on occasion.
