It's been a while, but here is a new version of ImDisk Toolkit.
There are 2 important bug fixes, when the synchronization feature is used with several ramdisks.
I also added an option in the installer to disable the automatic loading of the ImDskSvc service. This service, installed by the driver, is not used by the tools of this package, so we can save some KB of our expensive RAM by avoiding its loading.
On a new install, the automatic loading is disabled by default.
On an existing install, the configuration of the service is kept (the option is set according to the current configuration).

I used this service at startup to configure the RamDisk Settings, as written to Registry prior to starting this Service. This Service would then setup the RamDisk according to Registry-settings. You now say: This Service is not used by the Tools of this Package ? Does that mean the method (set registry, start service) I've been using for very long now will not work anymore from this version and on ?

It seems you are confusing this service and another one.
Please take a closer look at the names of the services. This one is "ImDskSvc" (ImDisk Virtual Disk Driver Helper).
As said in the description of the installer: "It is installed by the driver to initiate TCP/IP or serial port connections with proxy softwares."
If I guess right, you are talking about "ImDiskRD" (ImDisk RamDisk starter). There is no change about this one.
By the way, the Toolkit can also install, if required, 2 other user mode services:
- ImDiskTk-svc (ImDisk Toolkit helper service), which hosts the synchronization feature at system shutdown
- ImDiskImg (ImDisk Image File mounter), used to mount image files at system startup.

ImDiskTk-svc is hosted by ImDiskTk-svc.exe, and installed by the RamDisk Configuration Tool when you check "Synchronize at System Shutdown" in the Data tab.
ImDiskImg is hosted by MountImg.exe, and also installed by this executable when you check "Mount at System Startup".
That said, the installer automatically reinstalls all the required services if the proper values are found in the registry.
