sadly virtualbox ITSELF only allow create a splited vmdk of about 2.1TB by the method i mentioned here. over that virtualbox complains the .vmdk to be too big ><.
still thanks author as 2TB is much better than 1TB.

After 3 days, the number of alerts is usually quite stable.
So, as there is no big vendor in the list, there is practically no risk. Seeing a big vendor (Avast, BitDefender, Kaspersky, McAfee, Microsoft, Symantec) is a big issue for 2 reasons: a lot of people use them, and small vendors often copy the results of the big ones.
About the title: it's not really truncated, it fully appears in the title of my tab, and I also get it in the notifications SoundForge sends to me.
I will try to add the support of splitted RAW files, but it may take time.
Right now, I have to find another way to distribute this software, because antiviruses are an issue that becomes bigger and bigger.

The 64-bit version now have 11 alerts, including BitDefender and Microsoft. A bit unusual, but not very surprising.
Given what we can read here, I bet some have reported the few alerts to other vendors.
So I will remove it too.
The new packages are almost finished and will be uploaded very soon.

Thanks for the effort first.
from the list,
only 3 less well known engine have the alert.
the 0406 64bit .exe even pass kasperaky,
AVG, avira, bit defender.
so...
i think could trusted, is it?
I did use quite many other programs that
contain more alerts and from more well known enignes.
thank you author for the effort.
i'll have a try.
title cut..:
The newest x64 .exe got only 3 alert from 3 less well known engin in virus total, good to go?
I ran it!
The splited vmdk < 1TB limit is removed.
Looks like the mount/unmount delay error not appeared.
at the moment only created the 2TB splited vmdk on 500G SSD,
will try to deploy heavily with 2TB/4TB data and test the robustness.
btw, win10's defender also dont complain.
so i think it's ok.
thank you.
