[Imd-linux-beta_1] sources indeed

hi all,

I really hope we get a source release soon,
I'm a gentoo users (for now), so well you know the gentoo people, as 
it's a source based distro.

I'm thinking about trying archlinux which is source/binary based...

Is that SGI propritary code important to imd4linux?
btw in which widget set are the imd4linux apps made? openmodif?
