IMathAS 1.7.1 was released 3/25/09. This release was a maintenance update, fixing several bugs.

Version 1.7 revised the tutoring system and replaced the question language interpreter allowing more natural coding of questions.

Version 1.6 Added a calendar, improved the text editor, and added file upload.

IMathAS 1.5 was released Feb 21, 2008. Apologies for not posting 1.4 release.

The most current version can be obtained via CVS off code.google.com/p/imathas

This version includes dozens of changes, mostly small changes and convenience features.

IMathAS 1.3 was finally released on Aug 21, 2007. This version includes a drawing answer type and dozens of convenience features.

IMathAS 1.2 was released April 4, 2007.

This version introduces a bunch of changes. Most notable are group assessment ability, ability to use student answers in later questions, and a new display method. Also includes bunches of new convenience features and bug fixes.

IMathAS 1.1 was released Feb 4, 2007.

This version makes several improvements, including
nested blocks, blocks as folders, an internal
message system, addition of gradebook categories
and support for a grading scheme, support for
offline grades, and increased instructor options
in most areas.

IMathAS 1.0 was released Dec 6, 2006.

This release marks the move of this project out of beta after more than a quarter of production use testing, and after nearly a year of development.

IMathAS 1.0RC1 was released Nov 5, 2006.

This version makes numerous small improvements and bug fixes, and begins the move out of beta towards release 1.0.

IMathAS 1beta14 was released Aug 5, 2006

This version introduces user groups, allowing multi-school use of a single server. Also new are a Copy Course Items feature, categorized assessment breakdowns, assessment averages, and simplified database setup.

IMathAS 1beta13 was released July 8, 2006

This version revamps the session handling into the database to avoid session timeout and session save page issues, as well as several bug fixes and small improvements.

IMathAS 1beta12 was released June 14, 2006. The new release makes many bug fixes and minor improvements.

IMathAS 1beta11 was released April 17, 2006.

This version adds course item import/export, "homework" assessment setting, and makes numerous bug fixes.

IMathAS 1beta10 was released March 29, 2006. This version makes improvements for question sharing, adds accessibility options, and other improvements and bug fixes.

IMathAS 1beta9 was released March 5, 2006. This version makes an important security fix, as well as adding basic discussion forums, a String question type, and several other improvements and bug fixes.

IMathAS beta 8 was released Feb 16, 2006. It includes a complete rewrite of the library system, added blocks in the course page, and multiple bug fixes.

IMathAS 1beta7 was released Feb 2, 2006, primarily as a bug fix release for several issues, including a completely broken gradebook.

1beta6b was released Jan 22, 2006 to fix a major problem where sin,cos,etc. were not being allowed in calculations.

IMathAS 1beta6 was released Jan 21, 2006. It is primarily a bug fix to improve compatability with FireFox. A couple other small changes were made, and the included stats macro library was expanded

IMathAS 1beta5, the first release on SourceForge, was released Jan 18, 2006. Details and a demo are available on the project Home Page (imathas.sourceforge.net).
