GmailFS and GSpaceFS use libgmail. It is based on web mail, so it's too slow. And IMAPFS is based on java and its "tar.gz" packet of sourceforge cannot be decompressed for me.
Until now I have set up GmailFS successfully. But I found it could not support Chinese fully.

I want to use the network storage provided by gmail sufficiently. I had tried the project GmailFS of Richard Jones, GSpaceFS of Came Zo and IMAPFS of Xuan Luo, but finally some problem let me give up. Now I choose to develop my own module for realizing IMAP filesystem. I call it IMAP Network Storage (IMAPNS).
IMAPNS will use UW IMAP toolkit, be based on fuse, and be licensed under GPL.
