if you would like a 64bit build i can work on one in the near future.
the only reason there has not been any updates recently is i am waiting for another developer to build an installer. installer options are bad right now.
you could google to see if you can switch a 32bit debian install to 64bit, it would not be quite the way it should if you can but it may work.
i also have a bug with update-manager that i have not had in the first versions that i need to work out.

i skimmed this, it looks as though it should work just fine as written, but BE CAREFUL!
