#5 Image is too big?

Hey there! I am working with Geo referenced maps with a scale of 1/20000. They usually cover 250km2 and have an average dimension of 7900 x 8500 or something. Sometimes, I need to use them on a smaller scale (say 1/5000) but since the image (TIFF format) isnt made for it, I lose quite a bit of quality. I was trying to upgrade its quality using your software. It seems to be able to do a tiny bit of work, but I either get the error message : " Image is too big? could not process enough memory." or it does go through, but it takes a while to progress(which I dont mind) but once the progress bar is full, it just stays there saying calculating XXXXXX with no result even after 10 mins. I know its not really a bug, and that I'm trying to use your software for maybe too much of an image, but I just wanted to point this out, if say, you wanted to look into it. A very good day to you
