There are some issues with IA scaling to large sites. While there hasn't been active development on this app for 2 years, seeing people start to use this app again, I'm going to spend some time to improve two issues:

- Native MySQL support
- mod_perl support

Currently, MySQL support is implemented via a plugin API layer that doesn't allow caching of data or effecient reads of the database. I'm going to rip out the data access plugin layer and support only MySQL in this version (and other SQL DBs, just not text and xml)... read more

Image Arcadia, the former prince of commercial Multimedia Management has been released under the LGPL. The current version is 3.01, a very mature release of this product.
