🖼️ Introducing the Extended Image Gallery CMS: Now with Semantic Web Integration

I’m excited to share the latest updates to the Extended Image Gallery CMS — a project that’s grown from a simple image organizer into a dynamic, semantically rich, and beautifully structured gallery system. This release focuses on accessibility, metadata, and web standards, pushing the gallery into the realm of the modern semantic web.

🌐 What's New

  • Responsive Templates Refreshed
Templates are now cleaner, lighter, and mobile-friendly. The update improves both usability and SEO performance.

  • JSON-LD Integration for Semantic Web
The gallery includes structured data powered by Schema.org, making it machine-readable and search engine–friendly. Each image has ImageObject metadata, licensing info, publishing date, and more — even a valid ImageGallery object on the homepage.

  • Live Preview Links
Embedded previews now use query parameters (?action=viewWEBP&f=...) for direct image access, making it simple to share and embed highlights.

💡 Why It Matters

This project isn't just about showcasing pictures — it's about treating your visual content as first-class data. With full HTML5 compliance, improved accessibility, and structured metadata, this CMS is now a practical example of what the semantic web can look like in action.
