I want to use MySQL for the backend. I had Ilohamail working fine with the files system. However, I want the calendar to work also (which appears to need MySQL). So I modified the db_conf.php to use the DB instead of the FS. I then created all the SQL tables prefixed bu iloha_ (making sure they are set properly in the config files). Now when I log in, I get the error: "Warning: mysql_pconnect(): Access denied for user: 'admintom_admin@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /HOME/ADMINTOM/PUBLIC_HTML/ILOHAMAIL/INCLUDE/IDBA.MYSQL.INC on line 27 WARNING: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'admintom_admin@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /HOME/ADMINTOM/PUBLIC_HTML/ILOHAMAIL/INCLUDE/IDBA.MYSQL.INC on line 28" Being the administrator/webmaster, I am certain of the DB name, uers name (God account) and password. Nothing stands out as far as I can see. Thanks in advance for any assistance. |

Can "admintom_admin@localhost" connect to the MySQL server fron the 'localhost '? Check your permissions within MySQL to ensure that your admin user has access to the Db. You might want to create a new database, put the tables there, then create a new user and grant that user all privileges on that database.=20 I think this would be cleaner, and easier to back up/maintain. Not sure why your configuration doesn't work unless your user has not been granted enough privilege for that database, though "God" seems like it ought to be enough :) On 9/28/2005, "Thomas Wills" <twi...@co...> wrote: >I want to use MySQL for the backend.
