I have it set to where when I delete a message it goes into my "deleted
messages" folder [which is the same folder that my email client
(mail.app = mac os x) uses, and I've subscribed to it via the Options
When I delete a message in my mail client, the message shows up in the
deleted messages folder in Ilohamail. But when I delete messages from
Ilohamail, it doesn't show up in my mail client?
any explanations? :(

When you delete a message in IlohaMail, the message is marked as deleted
and moved to the Trash. Some clients only move them to the trash
folder, without marking them as deleted.
When viewing the trash, IlohaMail shows messages that are marked delete
and those that aren't marked as deleted. Some clients don't show
messages that are marked as deleted, even when displaying the trash
Since the existence of a "trash" folder isn't mandated by the IMAP
procotol itself, the exact handling is left up to the client... In
other words, neither behavior is correct; they're just different.
