I just have a few install problems...
1. In the config file, I left the smtp server blank as the notes say thi=
will use php's mail function which is more reliable. Then, when I tried
to send an email, I got an error. I changed the value to localhost and
email seems to work now. Could this be caused by the fact that my smtp
server requires authentication? Still, php's mail function should work
fine. It works fine for me in my own scripts.
2. When I go to compose a message I'm getting "invalid uploads dir." I
simply untarred the latest nightly and I don't remember getting this
message in other versions. The directory is there, does match the defaul=
values (../data/uploads) and I set my webserver user as the owner as well
as setting it to 700. Does it need to be 777?
