Hi, Don't know if this is a bug or a config error. Just upgraded from working install of 0.8.13-stable. Ran backend_converter.php, and 0.9.0.sql. Got the following error when attempting to login: Warning : fopen(../data/sessions/1106262352-77168.inc): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/mailroom/include/write_sinc.FS.inc on line 94 filesystem errorInvalid session ID Inserted working conf settings into new conf.inc file from previous conf.inc file. Is this a config-related error? Thanks, Kimo Lee |

I can't say just based on the info you've provided, but I wouldn't be surprised if things didn't quite work as expected if you upgraded directly from 0.8.13... I would first recommend doing a clean install of the latest 0.9 release, then slowly migrate data and configs over. Also, backend_converter.php doesn't do anything if you're using the FS backend. Hi Ryo, POSSIBLE UPGRADE DOC ERROR: Per your message quoted below, either there was a misunderstanding or the Upgrade doc is missing some instructions. The two things that seemed to apply in the Upgrade doc for 0.8.13 (which it appears would be "pre 0.9") were to run the backend_converter.php file, and then to check the MySQL/0.9.0 file, which I also did. In the Upgrade doc, your clean install recommendation was for "0.7.x to 0.8.10". Nothing specifically for version 0.8.13. ------------------------ FYI, I am using the MySQL backend. At any rate, this install is only in a test phase, so there's nothing to prevent a clean install of the 0.9 version, as long as the 0.9 version is working reasonably well. And based on the announcement Rodolfo P. forwarded a link for, it seems the release candidates are due soon. I'll do the clean install and run some tests to see if I feel comfortable deploying it before the release candidates come out. I really need to be able to lock in a default appearance and to preload a shared contact group and don't want to wait. Thanks for pointing that out... I'll update the documentation accordingly. Also, the error you mentioned in your original message only occurs if IlohaMail is configured to use the FS backend. I would recommend modifying the new conf files, instead of copying the old ones over. Ryo On 1/21/2005, "B.
