Hello everybody, i'm using ilohamail as imap client for my webmail it works fine, but I've found a minor usability glitch when setting Save sent messages in folder to INBOX (the default root of courier imap server), by default I have this in the side frame: Folders [Manage Folders] Inbox -INBOX Drafts Junk Sent Trash but when I set Auto-Save Options Save sent items. Save sent messages in folder: INBOX Move deleted items to folder: INBOX.Trash I get this: Folders [Manage Folders] Sent Trash [expunge] -INBOX Drafts Junk Sent Since I've set the inbox as sent mails save point I've got that Inbox disappears from the side frame, how can I get it back again? This seem to appear even in 0.9 series Thank you very much Luca |

Hi, I have webspace on a public server. To use ssl I cannot https://server but I have to use https://sslproxy/server. Luckyly this workes for Ilohamail. But there are some exceptions. If I get an eMail with different charset or an html mail in both messages 'click here' is not linked to https://sslproxy/server/ilohamail/source/get_message.php but to https://sslproxy/ilohamail/source/get_message.php So the server part is omitted. Can this be fixed easily? Bye...Frank |

Hello, started using ilohamail about a week ago. Very nice. It just seems the repeat function is not working in the calendar. I am using version 0.9.0-Devel . I created an entry "repeattest" on 20 February 2006 and tagged "all day event" and "repeat annually". I did not find a repeat-entry on 20 February 2007. Rolf Deenen PS. I am a bit confused as to where to post this (probably) bug. I see bug-reports in the mailing-lists, the forums and the unofficial trac system. I suppose the project is in transition phase and moving towards the trac system. Are there any updates available about this? |

Hello, I installed IlohaMail a few days ago and i am really impressed. The functionality is superb! In fact i think i am going to ditch Ximian Evolution over this. Now, my post is about switching theme's. As i have read on a number of posts the ability to change theme's is something new in ilohamail since version 0.9.0 (i am running version 0.9-20050415 myself) and is somewhat immature. Most questions concerning switching theme's are answered with: "go through the css in the theme folder". So, that's what i did. I copied the "default" directory and looked into it. The first thing i noticed was a file "info.inc". There you can set a number of settings, in particular the user's ability to change the colors him/herself. Because i wanted to play with the colors is switched them all to "0", indeed giving the ability to fill in your own hexadecimal codes for the colors. So i changed some values. However, after pressing "apply" the settings-page reloads with exactly the colors i had before. Also, my custom color-values in the form were replaced with the default colors from the theme. Is this a bug in the theme-code, a setting somewhere in the theme or do i just not understand it. Thanks in advance, Rolf Deenen PS Is there a theme repository for ilohamail somewhere? |

I've had the same problem using dev.ilohamail.org It sometimes removes the last character, or more often ads a closing parenthesis ")" to the end of the message. -----Original Message----- From: ilo...@li... It works great for me except that it removes the last character from any message that i send or receive. for example, if i sign my message "-james" it shows up as "-jame".=20 If someone replies to that message (using ilohamail 0.9-20050415) i receive the message as ">> -jam" and so on. basically, all my messages are getting the last character removed. is this is known bug? i searched the mailing list archives and couldn't find it. also, is this an easy fix? something that i could find? which files would be affect? thanks, james ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the JBoss Inc. dear all, thanks for the good work. im writing this on stable release and am very happy. however, there are some things missing and while testing the latest demo version i noted down these points: while clicking on subject to read a message in the inbox it is flagged at the same time. there are no previous/next buttons while reading a message and it does not display the number of the email ( it says eg. "# of 3" ) also -while reading a message in my POP3 account the "move" dropdown box is visible (i thought this only worked for imap?) i can not change any of the colour values in appearance - is this an IE issue? the layout is quite bad in preferences - it is possible to organise the table so that the cells are evenly spread (eg. there is a lot more on left) i dont notice any difference when a message is flagged as important. it appears that a message being marked as unread is only selected (maybe insert another column with flags for unread?). will it be possible to take away the reminder for empty subjects while sending? at least put it as an opton in conf.php? while reading a message i dont think the unread option should be there - it is difficult to understand what it means. that should be done from inbox with selecting and marking. generally best to only have one way of doing things. same applies to send button - why are there two? i think the lower one is enough. will the whitelist option in prefs be possible to hide with conf.php? i think thats all. im really grateful for ilohamail and i hope these comments can be productive. i might be able to help implementing some of them - like the layout for prefs. let me know. thanks again, jens |

(yes, answering myself)... figured it out, looks like you kept it as conf.inc in the source, and the conf.inc just includes the conf.php ... so the UPGRADING documentation is wrong, simply renaming conf.inc to conf.php does not work.... you still need a conf.inc that includes the conf.php Cheers, James On Monday 19 September 2005 11:40 am, James Grant wrote: > Hi there, I figured id bite the bullet and try to upgrade to 0.8.14-rc3, > and ran into a snag: > > the "UPGRADING" file says: > There have been some changes to config files. Hi there, I figured id bite the bullet and try to upgrade to 0.8.14-rc3, and ran into a snag: the "UPGRADING" file says: There have been some changes to config files. To prevent public exposure of potentially sensitive contents, the following files have been renamed. conf/login.inc -> renamed to login.php conf/conf.inc -> renamed to conf.php conf/custom_auth.inc -> renamed to custom_auth.php conf/new_user.inc -> renamed to new_user.php so i copied over the 'new source' over the 'old source' and then renamed the above 4 files, however -- several places in the code still refer to "conf.inc" instead of "conf.php" eg) char:/usr/local/IlohaMail-0.8.14-rc3/IlohaMail# grep -r "conf/conf.inc" * include/session_auth.inc:include_once("../conf/conf.inc"); include/data_manager.inc:include("../conf/conf.inc"); include/as_update.inc:include_once("../conf/conf.inc"); include/session_close.inc: include("../conf/conf.inc"); include/save_colors.inc:include_once("../conf/conf.inc"); include/cache.inc:include("../conf/conf.inc"); include/log.inc:include_once("../conf/conf.inc"); include/session_close.DB.inc: include_once("../conf/conf.inc"); include/header_main.inc:include_once("../conf/conf.inc"); include/save_prefs.inc:include_once("../conf/conf.inc"); include/write_sinc.inc: Gets config from ../conf/conf.inc include/write_sinc.inc:include("../conf/conf.inc"); source/css.php:include_once("../conf/conf.inc"); source/login.php:include_once("../conf/conf.inc"); source/index.php:include_once("../conf/conf.inc"); Did these just forget to get changed? or should he UPGRADING file be fixed to NOT say to rename conf.inc to conf.php? Hi Dave! Glad I could help. I always stumble over these small issues, so that is the first thing I look at when I have a problem. I also like IlohaMail very much. I tried squirrelmail and horde/imp, but I found them to be too bloated and in the case of squirrelmail too modular. It was hard to keep up with all the different plugins and their dependencies on specific versions of other plugins... IlohaMail is fast, comes with a good set of features and everything fits in quite well. Cheers, Martin Am 16.8.2005 schrieb "David Stevenson" <dav...@dg...>: >Bingo - you are very correct! Hi David! I am using the same build. Attaching documents works fine here. Are you sure there is no other cause for your problem? Did you verify that the upload directory can be written to by IlohaMail? On my system, I installed Ilohamail to /usr/share/IlohaMail, but moved the conf directory to /etc/IlohaMail and data to /var/cache/IlohaMail. Then, I created softlinks to these directories, but forgot that they had been created by root and that IlohaMail does not have sufficient privileges to write to such folders. OS: Ubuntu 5.04 Client: mozilla firefox Dev nightly build: IlohaMail-0.9-20050415 I am not able to send attachments using this build. they simply do not get injected even though the file is selected in Attach box. Debug from send session is as follows: To: sales@************ Attachments: 0 Num parts: 0 Sending... from_addr: sales@************* User: crafty authmode: none Connecting to localhost:25 SMTP:220 servername ESMTP Postfix (Debian/GNU/DGS) Connected: 220 servername ESMTP Postfix (Debian/GNU/DGS) SMTP:250 servername after HELO: Resource id #68 Sending to: <sales@********> MAIL FROM: <sales@**********> SMTP:250 Ok SMTP:250 Ok SMTP:354 End data with . SMTP:250 Ok: queued as C7BA4D4487 Sent! Saving to: SentA APPEND "Sent" (\Seen) {624} + OK A OK Append completed. done. reply_id=3D;as updated done. Message successfully sent.=20 I'll update to the next nightly build when i get a spare few minutes. Not the best fix, but as I was the only user as the system is still new and users are still using pop3 it was ok. >> Also, when viewing the calander and I have a couple of entries for the >> same day, the 'box' (as opposed to list view) sinks to the bottom of the >> page which obscures the calendar grids. > >Yes, this is a problem with all-day appointments. This is the best system I have seen in the open source and maybe I shall start to tweak if I do get time also. Yes, this is a problem with all-day appointments. I had reported this error to Ryo, sent him screenshots, but I never receive any news. (Ryo is a bit alone to develop and I understand that he are very busy right now) Regards. Rodolfo Pilas |
