I think 0.9 is progressing nicely, and I'm at that point where I want to
start publicly releasing/announcing 0.9 releases. My goal is to release
0.9-stable by early Spring (March, April), which means we need to get
0.9 out to more people for testing.
So, I'm looking for one or more people to help me with releases.
Basic tasks include:
+Write a short blurb outlining significant changes based on my devlog
+Take snapshots and repackge as .bz2 and .zip
+Upload and release on sourceforge.net
+Announce release on freshmeat.net
+Coordinate with RPM and Debian packagers
+Decent familiarity with IlohaMail 0.9
+Familiarity with SF.net and FreshMeat
Generally, this shouldn't take much time. At the current rate, there
will be at most one release per week, probably more like one every other
week. Once you get used to it, a release shouldn't take more than 30
minutes at most.
