Rather than having to edit the config files manually, a
web based interface would be preferable. A seperate
page such as admin.php could be put in withg no link to
itand this could be password protected from the SQL
storeor the filkes(depending on method used). From
there you should be able to chnage any of the
parameters set in the config files.

I may be able to make this for you if you like.
