ILIAS version 3.2.0_beta1 includes an extensive test and assessment tool which allows the combination of different question types to self-tests and assessments. The test- and assessment tool offers an authoring tool for creating tests, evaluation and grading routines and the possibilty to give access to other modules depending on the test results. Other new features in ILIAS 3.2.0_beta1 are the course management that allows you to combine learning modules to courses and to define requirements for taking a course, the survey tool, e.g. for getting feedback from learners after using Learning Modules, and LDAP Authentication.

ILIAS 3.1.0 Beta 1 released

Version 3.1.0 Beta 1 of ILIAS 3 has been released and is now available for download. It incluldes an implementation of the SCORM 1.2 standard, syntax highlighting for source code elements and a basic user tracking. The SCORM-1.2 RTE is based on the PfPLMS SCORM-1.2 API-Adapter Core, Copyright (c) Matthai Kurian, ETHZ (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zrich), Switzerland. The PfPLMS SCORM-1.2 API-Adapter Core is published under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL) on the International Relations and Security Network (ISN) web site.

ILIAS 2.3.7 released

ILIAS 2.2.0 released

ILIAS release 2.2.0 (Beta) is now available for download. New features include a course management system, an interface to the Java based chat & whiteboard tool 'Babylon', LDAP support, optional tree-like course overview, support for VRML and SVG multimedia objects. New system language: Italian. Current stable release is 2.0.4.

ILIAS 2.1.0 released

ILIAS release 2.1.0 (Beta) is now available for download. New features include XML-based import/export for transfering courses from one ILIAS system to another, a modified multi-language concept facilitating the creation of new system languages, file exchange within groups and integration of arbitrary file formats into courses. New system languages: Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish and French. Current stable release is 2.0.4.
