You can run JUnit with ikvm like in Java. You write your JUnit tests and then you can run it with Java or IKVM. IKVM use also JUnit tests for testing. Alternative you can write test with NUnit if you work with dlls.

IKVM create only stub jar files. This jar files can you use only with the Java compiler. You can not run it. If you want run it then you need to add a reference to the dll.

Hello everyone,


we are developing some special excel functions with java using ikvm. To ensure the functionality we want to write some junit tests. Unfortunately, we're not able to instanciate any objects (eg Workbooks, Worksheets) from ikvm generated jars, because the application context is missing.

We found an entry in the mailing list (http://goo.gl/2cczj <http://goo.gl/2cczj> ), which is similar to our problem but it doesn't provide any specific solution. Could you please give us an example how to properly create any objects so they can be used as mock objects?
