CryptIK 1.2 has been released. This version modifies the manner by which user preferences are stored and edited, creating a better user experience. The script now has two additional modules, Configurator and Parser.
Configurator starts on first run and asks the user exactly what they would like to run off of their IronKey. It saves these settings to an INI file located in the user's Application Data or AppData directory. This removes the need to manually edit the script, although power users can still do so.
When CryptIK runs, Parser takes this INI file and sets the script variables, allowing for multiple configuration files for different users while maintaining the script in a central location.
New features include the "prompt" setting for autorun, allowing the user too choose whether to launch apps on a case by case basis in addition to the "always" or "never" options previously supported.
