I put my server in and it seems to take it. Then I put my file name in and says downloading file for a second, then nothing shows up in the list. I have tried it with a kdb and xml file on my file server and I've tried the ikeepass.de server. In the space between the "Use local database:" and the scroll wheel list (which I have never seen anything in), it has ikeepass.de/test_database.kdb in it when I startup even if I have typed in my server name in the server spot (it remembers that). If I scroll the wheel it goes away and there is a - in it's place. I have tried connecting from home, from another network, and I have tried it using the built in Mac web sharing. I have also made an almost empty file with two basic entries and tried that.
There isn't any feedback to tell me if anything is happening. I'm going through all the steps, but nothing gets added to the list.
One thing that may be significant is that I have my first generation iPod Touch jailbroken. I have tried to look at the preference file, and the folders on the iPod. Can you tell me what the prefs file should look like? It seems to be missing a spot for the file names, but it hasn't accepted any yet.
The two step process for entering files seems a little awkward. Why not just have an add button where a person could type or paste a full URL including the filename. For long URL users could email it to themselves, copy it and paste it. A user could have password files on multiple servers.
I think a better way to keep the list of files would be like the alarm part of the clock app works. Instead of the time and label it could have the server and file name. And the on/off switch is there for whether or not to load file when the user uses that option. Looking at the Clock app...the four buttons on the bottom could be. Files, Edit, Load, and About. The files button would have a list of files available, tapping on one would enter it. The edit button would be the Alarm looking list. The load screen would say something like "Load all files marked "Yes" in the edit screen" with a "Load" button. That's just my idea...but I haven't seen it work the way it's supposed to yet.
I have the same issue...
Can't download my own kdb file, and can't download the example database.
