Since the new version 2.3, I cannot open my kdb file offline any more. I can only open it in HTTP download mode when the referenced HTTP address is available.

I used to provide my kdb file from a web server in my local home network, but only downloaded it sometimes for update. This worked with the older version 2.0 without problems. But when trying to open the file with version 2.3 and the switch "download database first" is off, nothing happens.

Then I tried to upload my kdb file using the second option "Local Web Server". After starting it, I can open the upload page on my PC and also see my existing kdb file that had been uploaded with the "HTTP download" option. But as soon as I start to upload a new file, iKeePass crashes on the iPhone and on the PC the page is no longer available.
After this crash, I even cannot start iKeePass any more on the iPhone. It terminates immediately after starting.
I needed to remove the app from the iPhone and re-install to get it running again.

Without being able to open my kdb file offline, iKeePass it totally useless!

Fortunately I saved the old version 2.0 ipa file and installed this again - eveything works with that as it should.

Perhaps this problem is depending on the iPhone version? I still have the old iPhone 3G.

    Another user:
I can confirm the same behavior. I use it the same way. If I'm on my local network and tell it to download database first it works. If I turn off download database first, nothing happens when I click login. The same happens if I'm not on my local network.
I have not tried the local http server option. But the drop box version seems to work fine no matter if I select download first or not.

Forgot to mention I was on a 3GS. I have the latest iOS.

Same problem here. With a iPhone 4 (4.3.3).
The app didn't start anymore. I switch the debug mode on then it finally started. The file seems to be uploaded but when I try to open it (same version of the .kdb since the first use of iKeepass: 1.15) app says "not a supported database version. Only kdb (1.x) and kdbx (<=2.16) are supported.

    Apps becomes useless ;-(
