ijGeodesic

A plugin for computing geodesic distances within binary images, and to compute geodesic diameters (or geodesic lengths) of labeled particles.

The module is composed of two functions:

• Geodesic Distance Map: propagates geodesic distances from a (binary) marker image within a (binary) mask image.
• Geodesic Diameter: computes the geodesic diameter of particles in a label image.

Both functions uses chamfer distances (approximations of euclidean distance around pixels).
