Hi, I started using Privoxy 3.0.21 in Windows 8 a couple of days ago and I noticed that the log file is empty, although was enabled (uncommented) by default in the config.txt file. I have granted writing permissions to the installation folder and file itself. The logdir was set by default to "." .
The following options were given in the config file:
user-manual ./doc/user-manual/
confdir .
logdir .
actionsfile match-all.action
actionsfile default.action
actionsfile user.action
filterfile default.filter
filterfile user.filter
logfile privoxy.log

This is designed behaviour. In order for Privoxy to log entries you need to enable one or more of the 'debug' directives in the config file.
