Category: funct: filtering Group: version 3.0 >Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Roland Rosenfeld (roro) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: consumes much CPU time on some URLs Initial Comment: http://bugs.debian.org/377843 reports that some URLs consume very much CPU time before they are delivered to the browser. Two such URLs are: http://www2.cnrs.fr/presse/communique/900.htm http://blogs.msdn.com/wga/archive/2006/07/16/667063.aspx Both pages aren't extremely complex and don't seem to do ugly thinks, but both of them take more than a minute to be filtered (using all CPU time that's available on a AMD64). Tschoeeee Roland ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Roland Rosenfeld (roro) Date: 2006-07-30 03:01 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=43129 I disabled the js-annoyances filter for the two URLs but this doesn't solve the issue. But if I additionally disable the unsolicated-popups filter, both sites are filtered quite fast. Thanks for the help! Take the filter out of your default config, and life will be happy again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=111118&aid=1531040&group_id=11118 |
