Bugs item #1153315, was opened at 2005-02-28 01:23 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=111118&aid=1153315&group_id=11118 Category: other Group: version 3.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Privoxy Dies with signal 6 when accessing tencent.com Initial Comment: pr...@ed... Privoxy version 3.0.3 on Fedora Core 2 using RPM privoxy-3.0.3-1.i386.rpm When accessing the following URL: http://oimsgad.tencent.com/Location/OiClientMsg/27612802/ (there are heaps of other similar tencent examples which do the same thing) Privoxy dies. The logfile entry says Privoxy(-1208038480) Info: exiting by signal 6 .. bye and if you run privoxy from a terminal it prints the following message privoxy: list.c:339: enlist: Assertion `list_is_valid(the_list)' failed. This is reproducible every time using Mozilla Firefox 1.0, IE 6, wget on Fedora Core. It happens when using privoxy directly as the only proxy or when you use squid to interface to the client and pass requests upstream to privoxy. I've attached a tcpdump of this situation. In the attached example, privoxy tries to retrieve the URL first, it dies then squid realises that privoxy is dead and retrieves it directly - with success. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=111118&aid=1153315&group_id=11118 |
